What happens next?
Your details will be entered onto our database and will be available to any of our sales officers, who may have properties for sale of interest to you, until you advise us you no longer wish to be considered for low cost home ownership.
We shall contact you after six months to determine whether or not your personal information has changed and whether you wish to remain on our list.
You may also browse on the website to identify properties you are interested in, and contact the sales officer to register your interest.
Please note:
Before you are approved to purchase a property, you may be required to attend an interview with the sales officer, who may request you provide some or all of the following documentation.
- Your passport and/or visa if not a British passport holder. If you are a British Citizen but do not hold a valid passport, we will require a copy of your driving licence
- If you are not registered on the electoral roll at your address, copies of further address verification, eg utility bills, council tax bill, credit card statement
- Copies of pay slips for the last 3 months (3 years accounts if self employed)
- If employed for less than 3 months, a letter from your employer stating your salary, whether your job is permanent and that any overtime or commission is guaranteed
- Copies of bank statements for the last 3 months
- Copies of statements relating to loans or HP documentation with instalments and balance figures
- If you have a County Court Judgement (CCJ) now satisfied, the Certificate of Satisfaction
- If you are renting, a copy of your rent book/rent statement and tenancy agreement
- If you are selling a property, a copy of the Memorandum of Sale
- A Mortgage in Principal/Mortgage Promise from your mortgage lender confirming the amount you are to borrow
- If you are getting money from family to help you buy, a letter from them, confirming the amount
- Proof of any savings
- Documentation detailing any other income, e.g. working family tax credit, income support, maintenance payments etc.
