What is Mortgage Rescue?
The Government Mortgage Rescue scheme is targeted at home owners currently experiencing difficulties in meeting their mortgage commitments. The scheme will allow home owners to remain in their homes.

Who is eligible?
As funds for the scheme are limited priority is given to ‘vulnerable’ households, that is those with members who are elderly, disabled or with young children.

Home owners requiring assistance under this scheme need to apply to their local authority in the first instance.
